【브레이크뉴스 경주】박영재 기자=(재)경주문화재단은 경주예술의전당 알천미술관 실감 미디어아트 체험전 ‘The 경주 : The Chronicles of Gyeongju(경주연대기)’ 개막식을 13일 오후 5시 30분 갤러리스페이스에서 진행한다고 10일 밝혔다.
‘The 경주 : The Chronicles of Gyeongju(경주연대기)’는2021년 문화체육관광부 ‘스마트 박물관·미술관 기반 조성’ 사업에 선정되어 실감콘텐츠 체험존을 조성해서 기획한 전시다.
전시는 미디어아트(실감콘텐츠)를 통해서 경주 예술의 과거와 현재 그리고 미래를 살펴보는 시간여행을 컨셉으로 한다. 관람객들은 과거 경주 선조들의 예술적 염원이 담긴 ‘예술혼’과 함께 경주 예술의 시간여행을 함께 떠나며 다양한 실감 콘텐츠를 경험할 수 있다.
경주 8색과 경주 예술의 탄생을 상징하는 8개의 알이 있는 공간에서는 ‘8개의 알’이 연주하는 경주의 색으로 과거를 경험할 수 있다. 알천미술관 소장품이 미디어아트로 재탄생한 이머시브 공간에서는 경주 예술의 현재를 느낄 수 있다. 경주의 미래를 상징하는 키네틱아트 공간에서는 예술과 기술이 접목된 작품을 감상 할 수 있다. 예술 체험 공간에서는 관람객이 동물에 채색해서 상상의 숲으로 직접 전송할 수 있다.
전시에 활용된 알천미술관 소장품 중에서 미디어아트로 개발된 작품은 11명의 작가(구미라, 김남표, 김락현, 김호연, 박대성, 박성표, 서지연, 손수민, 송해용, 안성호, 최한규)의 12점의 작품이다. 체험 공간에 등장하는 동물도안은 6명의 작가(김남표, 김정자, 김호연, 서지연, 이희재, 조금진)의 작품에서 모티브를 삼았다.

‘The Gyeongju: The Chronicles of Gyeongju’ is an exhibition planned by creating a realistic content experience zone after being selected for the 2021 Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s ‘Smart Museum and Art Museum Foundation Creation’ project.
The exhibition is based on the concept of time travel, examining the past, present, and future of Gyeongju art through media art (realistic content). Visitors can experience various immersive contents by taking a time travel of Gyeongju art together with the 'art spirit' that contains the artistic aspirations of the ancestors of Gyeongju in the past.
In a space with 8 colors of Gyeongju and 8 eggs symbolizing the birth of Gyeongju art, you can experience the past with the colors of Gyeongju played by ‘8 eggs’. In the immersive space where the collections of the Alcheon Museum of Art have been reborn as media art, you can feel the present of Gyeongju art. In the kinetic art space that symbolizes the future of Gyeongju, you can appreciate works that combine art and technology. In the art experience space, visitors can color animals and transmit them directly to the imaginary forest.
Among the collections of the Alcheon Museum of Art used in the exhibition, the works developed as media art are 12 works by 11 artists (Gumi Ra, Kim Nam-pyo, Kim Rak-hyun, Kim Ho-yeon, Park Dae-seong, Park Seong-pyo, Seo Ji-yeon, Son Su-min, Song Hae-yong, Ahn Seong-ho, Choi Han-kyu). . The animal designs appearing in the experience space were inspired by the works of six artists (Nam-pyo Kim, Jeong-ja Kim, Ho-yeon Kim, Ji-yeon Seo, Hee-jae Lee, and Jin Joo).
