【브레이크뉴스 】박은정 기자=안컴퍼니는 메타버스용 아바타 플랫폼 ‘레디플레이'에 뮤지컬 씨어터 '아르스'를 오픈하고, 첫 작품으로 '태조 왕건_공산에 겸을 묻다'를 공연한다고 밝혔다.

문화체육관광부와 대구시, 대구디지털혁신진흥원(DIP)의 ‘2022 대구지역특화콘텐츠 개발 지원사업’으로 선정된 이 작품은 메타버스 플랫폼 이프랜드 내 도란도란 공연장에서 선보인다.

1차는 오는 28일~30일, 2차는 12월 16일~18일 총 2회에 걸쳐 연한다. 실공연 쇼케이스는 오는 18일 대구 남구 소극장 꿈꾸는 씨어터 무대에 올린다.

작품의 배경은 태조 왕건과 후백제의 견훤이 대구 팔공산에서 치열한 접전을 벌였던 927년. 왕건이 공산전투에서 패하고 여덟 명의 공신을 잃고 퇴각하는 과정에서 이름 지은 대구지역 지명들을 거쳐 가면서 그의 심리 변화와 이후 삼국통일을 이뤄내는 강력한 왕으로서의 성장을 그려냈다.

3D(차원)로 구현한 배경 앞에 등장한 왕건은 얼터너티브 록을 접목한 뮤지컬 넘버 1곡을 부른다. 왕건의 움직임은 실제 사람의 안무를 녹화해 배경과 조화를 이루도록 한다. 

가상현실(VR) 음성 채팅 소프트웨어인 'VR챗 플랫폼'과 풀바디 모션트레킹 기술을 접목한 'VR 풀 트래킹'을 이용했다. 

‘태조 왕건'의 음악은 전통적 요소인 판소리와 대중적 요소인 록 음악을 유기적으로 결합한 뉴트로 느낌으로 작곡했다. 3D 입체음향을 활용해 메타버스 공간 내 관객들에게 입체적인 사운드와 새로운 무대 경험을 제공한다.

플랫폼 메타씨어터 ‘아르스’는 동양적인 미(美)가 있는 초현실적 테마월드로 구현했다. 각각의 어트렉션 테마존은 실제 지형·지명의 유래와 역사적 사실을 바탕으로 왕건의 퇴각로와 같은 순서로 꾸몄다.

안정미 안컴퍼니 대표는 “작품의 시나리오와 같은 공간들을 구현해 관객들의 작품에 대한 이해도와 몰입도를 한층 더 높이고자 기획했다”고 밝혔다.

The background of the work is in 927, when Taejo Wang Geon and Gyeon Hwon of Later Baekje fought a fierce battle at Palgongsan Mountain in Daegu. It depicts Wang Geon's psychological change and his growth as a powerful king who achieved the unification of the Three Kingdoms as he went through the Daegu area names he named in the process of retreating after losing the battle of communism and losing eight people of merit.

Appearing in front of a 3D (dimensional) background, Wang Geon sings the number one song in a musical that incorporates alternative rock. Wang Geon's movements are recorded with real human choreography to harmonize with the background.

It used 'VR Full Tracking', which combines 'VR Chat Platform', a virtual reality (VR) voice chatting software, with full-body motion tracking technology.

The music of 'Taejo Wang Geon' was composed with a Newtro feel that organically combined traditional elements of pansori and popular elements of rock music. Using 3D stereoscopic sound, it provides three-dimensional sound and a new stage experience to the audience in the metaverse space.

The platform meta theater ‘Ars’ has been implemented as a surreal theme world with oriental beauty. Each attraction theme zone is decorated in the same order as Wang Geon's retreat, based on the origin and historical facts of the actual topography and place name.

Ahn Company CEO Ahn Jung-mi said, "We planned to further enhance the audience's understanding and immersion in the work by implementing spaces like the scenario of the work."
