【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 수성구(구청장 김대권)는 2022년 여성친화도시 정부포상 수여식 및 협약식에서 여성가족부와 ‘여성친화도시 지정 협약’을 체결했다고 20일 밝혔다.
협약서에는 국가와 지역발전을 위한 성평등 정책 사업 공동 발굴 추진, 성 평등문화 확산과 여성친화도시 조성을 위한 상호협력,여성친화도시에 대한 국민적 관심과 공감대 형성을 위한 홍보와 교육 등의 내용을 담았다.
이번 협약으로 여성가족부는 다양한 분야의 우수 사업을 공모·지원함으로써 여성친화도시의 민관협력을 지원한다.
특히 수성구는 올해 여성친화도시 대표사업으로 양성평등 이야기꾼 양성과정 운영 , 행복 수성 여성 친화 정책 아카데미, (가칭)행복수성마을만들기, 뚜비가 지키는 안심길 확대 조성 등을 추진한다.
5년간 사업계획을 충실히 이행해‘모두가 행복한 여성친화도시 수성’ 비전 아래 새로운 여성친화도시로 거듭나기 위해 총력을 다할 방침이다.
김대권 수성구청장은 “2012년 지정 이래 지난 10년간 대한민국 대표 여성친화도시 수성구를 위해 힘써준 모든 관계자에 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 사회적 약자를 배려하는 여성친화도시 수성구를 만드는 데 더욱 앞장서겠다”고 밝혔다.
