【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시 소상공인을 위한 출산·양육 지원 사업이 본격 추진된다. 

대구행복진흥사회서비스원(이사장 배기철, 이하 대구행복진흥원)은 오는 16일부터 '대구 소상공인 출산·양육 행복 플러스+' 사업의 1차 서류 접수를 시작한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 ‘출산 소상공인 양육비 지원’과 ‘무주택 소상공인 육아응원금 지원’으로 나뉘며, 지난해 10월 대구시와 KB금융그룹이 체결한 업무협약에 따라 KB금융의 기부금을 활용해 진행된다.

‘출산 소상공인 양육비 지원’은 2025년 1월 1일 이후 자녀를 출산한 소상공인에게 가구당 250만 원을 지원하며, 둘째아부터는 100만 원을 추가로 지급한다.

‘무주택 소상공인 육아응원금 지원’은 2017년 1월 1일부터 2024년 12월 31일 사이 출생한 자녀를 양육 중인 무주택 임차 소상공인에게 가구당 100만 원을 지급한다. 단, 두 지원 사업은 중복 신청이 불가능하다.

1차 모집은 출산 소상공인 120명, 무주택 소상공인 120명 등 총 240명을 선착순으로 모집하며, 이후 8월(2차), 10월(3차), 2026년 1월(4차)까지 총 4차례에 걸쳐 500명을 지원할 예정이다. 예산 소진 시 접수는 조기 마감된다.

신청 대상은 2024년 1월 1일 이전부터 대구시에 주소지와 사업장을 두고 있으며, 신청 공고일까지 이를 유지하고 있는 소상공인이다. 

배기철 이사장은 “이번 지원 사업이 경기 침체로 어려움을 겪는 소상공인 가정에 실질적인 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “출산과 양육이라는 중요한 시기를 지역사회가 함께 응원할 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

This project is divided into ‘Childcare Support for Small Business Owners Who Have Given Birth’ and ‘Childcare Support Fund for Small Business Owners Who Do Not Have a Home,’ and will be implemented using donations from KB Financial Group in accordance with the business agreement signed between Daegu City and KB Financial Group in October of last year.

‘Childcare Support for Small Business Owners Who Have Given Birth’ will provide KRW 2.5 million per household to small business owners who have given birth after January 1, 2025, and an additional KRW 1 million will be paid for the second child and beyond.

The ‘Support for Childcare Support Funds for Small Business Owners Without Homes’ provides KRW 1 million per household to small business owners without homes who are raising children born between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2024. However, duplicate applications for the two support programs are not allowed.

The first round of recruitment will recruit a total of 240 people, including 120 small business owners who have given birth and 120 small business owners without homes, on a first-come, first-served basis. After that, 500 people will be supported in four rounds: August (2nd round), October (3rd round), and January 2026 (4th round). Applications will close early if the budget runs out.

Applicants are small business owners who have had an address and business location in Daegu City since before January 1, 2024 and who will maintain this until the application announcement date.

Chairman Bae Ki-cheol said, “I hope this support project will provide real help to small business owners and their families who are struggling due to the economic downturn,” and “I hope this will be an opportunity for the local community to come together to support the important period of childbirth and childrearing.”
