건축행정 평가는 매년 국토교통부가 건축행정의 건실한 운영을 유도하기 위하여 전국 226개 기초자치단체를 대상으로 건축물의 안전·유지관리 적절성, 전문성 등 건축행정을 종합적으로 평가하는 제도다.

이번 평가는 광역·기초자치단체를 대상으로 선정하며, 남구청은 226개 기초자치단체 중 최우수 기관으로 선정됐다.

남구청은 올해 건축행정 종합평가에서 5개 항목 14개 지표에서 전반적으로 우수한 실적을 거뒀으며, 특히 건축행정 업무처리와 견실시공 풍토조성 및 공동주택 사업 활성화 분야 등에서 우수한 평가를 받았다.

조재구 남구청장은‘다른 구에 비해 주택지가 많고, 대규모 택지개발로 인하여 건축민원이 증가하는 등 열악한 실정임에도 불구하고 건축행정 종합평가에서 최우수 성과를 만들어 낸 건축과 직원들을 격려한다’고 했으며,
