【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북소프트웨어고등학교(가칭)는 지난 26일 게임 산업의 신흥 강자로 떠오르고 있는 ㈜나다디지탈과 SW융합형 인재 육성을 위한 산학협력 MOU를 체결했다고 27일 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 ㈜나다디지탈 대표 이윤열, (가칭)경북소프트웨어고등학교 교장 황창기 등 6 여명이 참석했으며 상호 협력 및 교류를 통해 공동 교육과정 개발, 연구 및 사업 진행, SW 전문인력 양성 및 교류 등을 추진하기로 했다.

(가칭)경북소프트웨어고등학교는 교육부 지정 SW분야 거점특성화고등학교로 소프트웨어개발과 2학급(40명), 사물인터넷과 1학급(20명), 게임개발과 1학급(20명)을 모집해 내년 3월에 개교를 앞두고 있다.

㈜나다디지탈은 ‘천재테란’이라고 불리던 스타그래프트 프로게이머 출신 이윤열 대표가 지난 4월 대구에서 설립한 회사로 9월에 모바일 게임 ‘마피아3D’를 출시하여 대구 지역 게임 산업 도약의 발판 역할을 하고 있는 회사이다.

㈜나다디지탈 이윤열 대표는 “이번 MOU 체결로 대구-경북 게임 산업 분야의 전문 인력 교류 및 교육과정 개발, 공동프로젝트 실시, 관련학과 학생들의 현장실습 등 유능한 SW인력 양성을 위해 지원할 수 있게 되어 기쁘게 생각한다.”라고 소감을 말했다

황창기 교장은 “코로나-19라는 전 세계적 혼란 속에서도 게임은 4차 산업을 주도할 동력으로 이번 협약은학생들의 경험을 확대할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것이라 생각한다.”고 말했다.
