농관원은 고병원성 AI가 확산됨에 따라 지난 12월 11일부터 전국 103개 철새도래지에 대한 소독방역실태 등 현장점검을 주 1회 실시하여 AI 확산 방지를 위해 적극 노력 중에 있다.

농관원이 37개반 136명의 점검반을 통해 철새도래지 현장점검을실시한 결과, 지속적인 협조요청에도 불구하고 철새도래지 주변에서 낚시 및 산책하는 사람들이 발견되어 AI 전파가 우려되는 상황이다.
