동국대학교 경주캠퍼스는 이 대학 디자인미술학과 시각디자인전공 4학년 주영윤 씨가 ‘제56회 대한민국디자인전람회’에서 은상인 산업통상자원부 장관상을 수상했다고 26일 밝혔다.

동국대에 따르면 대한민국디자인전람회는 1966년에 처음 시작되어 올해로 56회째를 맞이하는 산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국디자인진흥원과 한국디자인단체총연합회가 공동으로 주관하는 국내 최고 권위의 디자인어워드이다.

올해부터는 은상 이상 수상자 중 관심 있는 자를 대상으로 한국 디자이너를 선발하여 해외 수요기업에 인턴 디자이너로 파견 지원 또는 해외 기업 체험 기회를 제공한다.

주영윤 씨는 ‘대한민국 한글 홍보 캐릭터 디자인 프로젝트’를 출품하여 총 3차례의 심사를 거쳐 전국에서 출품된 2200여 개의 작품 중에서 은상인 산업통상자원부 장관상을 수상했다.

수상작은 디자인코리아2021 전시에 이어 대구 디자인위크에서 전시될 예정이다.

동국대학교 경주캠퍼스 디자인미술학과 시각디자인전공은 이번 공모전뿐만 아니라 경상북도 산업디자인전람회, 대구출판인쇄 디자인 공모전, 대구산업디자인전람회 등 여러 공모전 및 대회에서 우수한 성적을 거두고 있다

From this year, Korean designers will be selected from among the silver or higher award winners, and they will be dispatched as intern designers to overseas demanding companies or given opportunities to experience overseas companies.

Joo Young-yun submitted the 'Korea Hangeul Promotion Character Design Project' and after a total of three screenings, was awarded the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award, a silver prize among more than 2,200 works submitted from all over the country.

The winning works will be exhibited at Daegu Design Week following the Design Korea 2021 exhibition.

Dongguk University Gyeongju Campus Department of Design Art and Visual Design has achieved excellent results not only in this competition but also in various competitions and competitions such as Gyeongsangbuk-do Industrial Design Exhibition, Daegu Publishing Printing Design Competition, and Daegu Industrial Design Exhibition.
