티웨이항공은 오는 11월 11일부터  대구와 후쿠오카를 연결하는 노선을 재개한다고 밝혔다. 또 14일부터는 도쿄(나리타) 노선까지 운항이 재개될 예정으로 알려진다.

이에 따라 일본 여행을 구상 중인 여행객들이 한층 편리하게 두 곳을 경유할 수 있을 것으로 전망된다. 다만, 여행사 일각에선 다른 공항과 달리 대구공항의 일본노선 재개가 늦은 감이 없지 않다는 반응을 보이고 있다. 

일본노선은 매일 1일 두편의 항공이 왕복할 예정으로, 오후 5시 55분 대구 출발~ 오후 7시 후쿠오카 도착과 오후 7시 55분 후쿠오카 출발 오후 9시 대구공항 도착 예정이다.

나리타 공항 노선 역시 1일 왕복 두 편으로, 오전 11시 대구공항 출발해 오후 1시20분 나리타공항 도착한 뒤, 다시 오후 2시 20분 나리타를 출발해 오후 4시 대구공항에 도착한다.
