대성그룹 김영훈회장은 몽골 울란바토로, 만다흐솜 등에서 태양광·풍력 복합발전으로 에너지, 식수, 농업용수 등을 공급하는 그린에코에너지파크 사업 등을 진행했고, 몽골 정부로부터 그 공적을 인정받아 북극성훈장을 받은 바 있다.
이날 김회장은 개회사에서 ”한국과 몽골은 형제국으로서 문화, 유통, 스포츠, 통신, 자원 등 여러 분야에서 협력을 강화하고 있다. 자원이 무기가 되고 글로벌 공급망이 재편되는 시점에서 자원, ICT 등 양국의 강점을 살리는 협력이 더욱 확대되기를 기대한다”고 강조했다.
