진준호 소방위는 대한민국 인사혁신처가 주관한 ‘2026년 적극행정 전문강사단’에 최종 선발됐다. 적극행정 전문강사단은 공직사회의 능동적이고 적극적인 업무 수행 문화를 확산하고, 기업과 주민의 불편 해소 및 지역경제 활성화, 사회적 가치 증진 등을 위해 운영된다.

진 소방위는 제11회 대한민국 공무원상 근정포장과 국회자살예방대상 수상 등 적극행정 우수사례를 인정받아 이번 강사단에 이름을 올렸다. 2005년 소방에 입문한 그는 20년간 각종 재난 현장에서 구조·구급·화재진압 활동을 수행하며 심정지 환자 3명을 살린 공로로 하트세이버 인증 3회를 받았고, 12명의 자살기도자를 구조해 제6회 국회자살예방대상과 대한민국 공무원상 근정포장을 수상하는 등 현장 중심의 적극행정을 실천해왔다.

진준호 소방위는 “공무원으로서 국민에게 도움이 되는 일을 늘 고민해왔다”며 “앞으로도 적극적인 현장활동과 인명구조 우수사례를 발굴해 동료 공무원들에게 귀감이 되도록 노력하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

이와 함께 이상민 소방장은 ‘2026년 경북소방본부 구급전문교육사 1급’ 자격을 취득했다. 구급전문교육사는 전문 구급대원 양성과 일반인을 대상으로 한 응급처치 교육을 담당하는 교육 강사로 활동하게 된다.

2014년 소방에 입문한 이상민 소방장은 12년간 재난 현장에서 구조·구급·화재진압 활동을 이어오며 심정지 환자 3명을 소생시켜 하트세이버 인증 3회를 받았고, 브레인세이버 3회, 트라우마세이버 1회 수상 등 풍부한 현장 경험을 갖춘 베테랑 구급대원이다.

이상민 소방장은 “현장 경험을 바탕으로 구급전문교육사 1급을 취득하게 돼 기쁘다”며 “앞으로 후배 구급대원들에게 보다 전문적이고 체계적인 교육을 통해 시민 안전에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

경주소방서 관계자는 “이번 성과는 현장 중심의 전문성과 적극행정 실천이 결실을 맺은 사례”라며 “앞으로도 시민의 생명과 안전을 지키는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Proactive Administration Professional Instructor Corps is operated to spread a culture of proactive and active work performance within the public service, resolve inconveniences for businesses and residents, revitalize the local economy, and promote social values.

Fire Lieutenant Jin was named to this instructor corps in recognition of his outstanding examples of proactive administration, including receiving the Order of Merit for Public Service at the 11th Korea Civil Servant Awards and the National Assembly Suicide Prevention Award. Having joined the fire service in 2005, he has practiced field-oriented, proactive administration for 20 years, performing rescue, emergency medical, and fire suppression activities at various disaster sites. He received the Heart Saver certification three times for saving three cardiac arrest patients and was awarded the 6th National Assembly Suicide Prevention Award and the Order of Merit for Public Service in Korea for rescuing 12 individuals attempting suicide.

Fire Lieutenant Jin Jun-ho stated, "As a public servant, I have always contemplated ways to help the people," adding, "I will continue to strive to be an inspiration to my colleagues by engaging in active field operations and discovering outstanding examples of life-saving."

In addition, Fire Sergeant Lee Sang-min obtained the "2026 Gyeongbuk Fire Headquarters Level 1 Emergency Medical Instructor" qualification. Emergency Medical Instructors serve as training instructors responsible for training professional paramedics and providing first aid education to the general public.

Fire Chief Lee Sang-min, who joined the fire service in 2014, is a veteran paramedic with extensive field experience, having engaged in rescue, emergency medical services, and fire suppression activities at disaster sites for 12 years. He has resuscitated three cardiac arrest patients, earning three Heart Saver certifications, three Brain Saver awards, and one Trauma Saver award.

"I am delighted to have acquired the Level 1 Specialist Paramedic Education Instructor certification based on my field experience," said Fire Chief Lee. "I will contribute to the safety of citizens by providing more professional and systematic training to junior paramedics."

An official from the Gyeongju Fire Station stated, "This achievement is a case where field-oriented expertise and the practice of proactive administration have borne fruit," adding, "We will continue to do our utmost to protect the lives and safety of citizens."
