【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포스코인재창조원(원장 김순기)은 13일, 14일 양일간 대전 유성호텔에서 ‘2023년 QSS 제조혁신 워크숍'을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 워크숍 프로그램은 올 한해 포스코와 함께 산업혁신운동에 참여하는 중소기업 37개사 경영진을 대상으로, 실질적인 제조 혁신 성과 창출을 위한 경영자 역량 제고를 위해 마련됐다.
워크샵에서는 향후 이어질 제조 혁신 활동의 성공을 다짐하는 발대식도 함께 이뤄졌다. 산업혁신운동은 대한상공회의소와 주요 기업이 협력하여 실시하는 중소기업 상생 사업으로, 중소기업의 혁신 과제를 발굴하고 개선하여 경쟁력을 높이는 사업이다. 포스코는 2013년부터 참여해 중소기업의 생산현장 개선, 설비관리, 에너지 및 안전 관리 등 혁신을 지원해왔다
37개 중소기업 경영진들은 △ 포스코 ESG 경영사례 △중소기업의 스마트팩토리 전략 및 효과적인 실행방안 특강을 통해 급변하는 경영환경을 이해하고 대응 방안을 모색하는 시간을 가졌다. 이어 △중소기업 혁신의 Key, CEO의 역할 △참여기업의 혁신 성공 스토리를 통해서 혁신의 필요성과 성과에 대한 공감대를 형성하고, 경영자 역할과 실행방안을 토의했다.
이번 워크숍에서는 직접 산업 혁신 우수 기업에 방문하는 시간도 가졌다. 포스코와 함께 QSS 혁신활동을 진행하고, 우수 참여사로 산업통상자원부 장관상을 수상한 대양금속을 방문해 현장을 견학하고, 안전 · 생산성 개선 사례를 통해 혁신 성공 요소를 살펴보았다.
워크숍에 참여한 국제물류 주정현 대표는 “워크숍을 통해 경영자의 의지와 열정이 혁신의 열쇠라는 것을 느낄 수 있었다”며 “우리회사의 혁신활동에 관심을 가지고 적극적으로 추진하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
포스코인재창조원은 앞으로도 QSS제조혁신 사업을 통해 체계적으로 중소기업의 혁신 역량 향상을 도모하고, 우수한 콘텐츠를 정기적으로 공유하며 상호 시너지를 제고할 수 있는 다양한 활동을 이어나갈 계획이다.

POSCO Recreation Institute holds 2023 QSS manufacturing innovation workshop
On the 13th and 14th, POSCO Recreation Institute (President Kim Soon-ki) announced that it held the ‘2023 QSS Manufacturing Innovation Workshop’ at Yuseong Hotel in Daejeon.
This workshop program was prepared for the executives of 37 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) participating in the industrial innovation movement along with POSCO this year to enhance management capabilities to create practical manufacturing innovation results.
At the workshop, a launching ceremony was also held to pledge the success of future manufacturing innovation activities. The Industrial Innovation Movement is a win-win project for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that is carried out in cooperation with the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and aims to enhance competitiveness by discovering and improving innovation tasks for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). POSCO has participated since 2013 and has supported innovations such as production site improvement, facility management, and energy and safety management of SMEs.
Executives from 37 SMEs had time to understand the rapidly changing business environment and find ways to respond through special lectures on △ POSCO ESG business cases △ smart factory strategies and effective implementation plans for small and medium-sized enterprises. Then, a consensus was formed on the necessity and achievements of innovation through the key to small and medium-sized business innovation, the role of the CEO, and the innovation success stories of participating companies, and discussions were made on the role of managers and action plans.
In this workshop, they also had time to visit companies with excellent industrial innovation. We conducted QSS innovation activities with POSCO, visited Daeyang Metal, which won the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award as an excellent participant, toured the site, and looked at innovation success factors through safety and productivity improvement cases.
Joo Jung-hyun, CEO of International Logistics, who participated in the workshop, said, "Through the workshop, I could feel that the will and passion of the management are the key to innovation."
POSCO Recreation Center plans to systematically improve SMEs' innovation capabilities through the QSS manufacturing innovation project, and continue various activities to regularly share excellent contents and enhance mutual synergies.
