이날 사행산업통합감독위원회 감독지도과와 달성군, (사)대한민속소힘겨루기협회 달성군지회, 지역 경찰과 함께 행사장을 돌며, 관람객을 대상으로 불법도박 근절 및 도박중독 예방 홍보자료를 배포했다.

최근 불법도박 산업의 급속한 확산으로 성인 도박중독과 청소년층의 도박문제 심각성을 알리고, 불법도박 근절과 폐해예방을 위해 불법도박 근절 캠페인을 진행했다.

청도공영사업공사 관계자는 “각 지자체와 (사)대한민속소힘겨루기협회, 사법기관과 협조하여 불법도박 예방과 계도를 실시할 예정이다. 앞으로도 합법 사행산업기관으로서 건전 레저 문화 정착과 전통문화 확산을 위한 무형문화유산 등재 등에도 힘을 보태겠다”라고 말했다.
