브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 여당인 국민의힘이 13일 더불어민주당의 35조 원 규모 추경(추가경정예산) 편성 제안에 "지난해 12월 일방적으로 감액 예산을 통과시키던 민주당은 온데간데없다"라며 민주당을 비판했다.

박수민 국민의힘 원내대변인은 이날 논평을 통해 이같이 밝히며 "한마디 사과도 없이 이제는 조기 대선을 염두에 두고 악성 포퓰리즘(대중영합주의) 추경을 들고나왔다"라고 지적했다.

그는 "이번 추경 예산 편성은 민주당이 조기 대선에 얼마나 과몰입 상태인지를 여실히 보여주고 있다"라며 "현시점에서의 추경 편성은 세금으로 표를 사겠다는 심산으로밖에 보이지 않는다"라고 했다.

이어 "35조 가운데 '민생 회복 소비 쿠폰' 예산만 무려 13조 1000억 원에 달한다"라며 "한두 달 선거철 반짝 효과를 위해 13조 원을 써야 하나? 선거를 위해 미래 세대에 부채를 남겨야겠나?"라고 반문했다.

또 "국정협의체를 통해 논의하자는 제안은 어디 간 것인가? 국정협의체도 헌신짝처럼 버리는 것인가?"라며 "민생을 위하는 척 포장했지만, 그 속내는 대선으로 향해 있다"라고 짚었다.
