【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항중앙교회(담임목사 손병렬)는 지난 11일 오후 4시, 제29차 장애인초청예배를 교회 본당에서 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 예배에는 포항지역에서 초청된 장애인 600명이 참석해 감사와 찬양을 드리며 깊은 감동과 위로의 시간을 나눴다.

예배는 경배와찬양팀의 찬양으로 시작되었으며, 이상진 목사의 사회, 박인엽 장로의 기도, 갈릴리찬양대의 찬양에 이어 손병렬 담임목사가 요한복음 15장 13~15절을 본문으로 ‘내 친구 되신 예수님’이라는 제목의 설교를 전했다.

손 목사는 “예수님은 우리를 친구라 부르시며, 우리를 위해 생명을 내어주신 분”이라며, “삶의 어려움 속에서도 우리 곁을 떠나지 않으시고 끝까지 함께하시는 주님의 사랑을 신뢰하자”고 권면했다. 또한 “오늘 이 자리에 함께한 모든 분들이 하나님의 친구로서 위로받고 새 힘을 얻는 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 덧붙였다.

이어진 축하공연에는 ▲엔젤찬양단(초등 1학년~중학교 2학년), ▲가현순 권사의 독창, ▲주찬양교회 워십팀, ▲포항중앙교회 청년부의 축하공연 등이 무대에 올라 찬양과 율동으로  큰 기쁨을 안겼다.

예배 후에는 참석한 장애인 600명 전원에게 교통비(1만 원 상당)와 선물, 그리고 교회에서 정성껏 준비한 식사가 제공됐다.

특히,  청년, 집사, 권사, 장로 등 약 250여 명의 자원봉사자들과, 개인택시선교회, 밀알선교회가 차량운행, 안내, 배식 등을 맡아 전 과정에서 세심하고 따뜻하게 섬겼다.

예배에 참석한 한 장애인은 “교회에 들어서자마자 환영받는 느낌을 받았고, 찬양과 공연, 식사까지 모든 것이 감사했다”며 “오늘 마음에 오래 간직하고 싶다”고 말했다.

Pohang Central Church Holds 29th Disabled Persons Invitation Service

[Break News Pohang] Reporter Park Young-jae = Pohang Central Church (Senior Pastor Son Byeong-ryeol) announced that it held the 29th Disabled Persons Invitation Service at the church main hall at 4:00 PM on the 11th.

The following congratulatory performance included ▲Angel Praise Team (elementary school 1st grade to middle school 2nd grade), ▲Deacon Ga Hyun-soon’s solo, ▲Joochanyang Church Worship Team, ▲Pohang Central Church Youth Department’s congratulatory performance, etc., and they brought great joy with praise and rhythm.

After the service, all 600 disabled people who attended were provided with transportation expenses (10,000 won), gifts, and a meal prepared with care by the church.

In particular, about 250 volunteers including youth, deacons, deacons, and elders, as well as the Individual Taxi Mission and Wheat Mission, took charge of driving, guiding, and distributing the food, and served with care and warmth throughout the entire process.

A disabled person who attended the service said, “As soon as I entered the church, I felt welcomed, and I was grateful for everything from the praise, performance, and meal,” and “I want to keep this day in my heart for a long time.”
