【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=이차전지와 충전기술을 융합한 B2B 산업전시회인 ‘2026 배터리 차징쇼’가 오는 6월 24일부터 26일까지 대구 EXCO 동관에서 열린다.
수도권 이외 지역에서는 처음으로 열리는 이번 전시회는 산업통상자원부와 대구시, KOTRA 등 10여 개 기관·단체가 후원하며, 총 10개국 200개사가 참가해 400개 부스 규모로 진행될 예정이다.
배터리차징쇼 추진위원회가 주최하고 페어그라운드와 열정마이스가 주관한다. 전시 품목으로는 배터리 셀과 소재, 부품부터 검사·측정 장비, 안전장비, ESS, 순환경제, 전기차, 충전설비, 전장품, 자율주행, 스마트그리드 등 배터리 관련 전 산업 분야가 포함됐다.
행사 기간 동안에는 메인 전시관 외에도 금속자원·자원순환 특별관, 배터리차징포럼, 채용박람회, 오픈세미나, 신제품 특별관, 포스터 세션 등 다양한 프로그램이 마련된다.
주최 측은 이번 전시회를 통해 전기차 제조사, 충전사업자, 관련 장비 기업 간 협력이 강화되고, 산업 전반의 상용화와 기술 교류가 더욱 활발해질 것으로 기대하고 있다.
또한 경상권을 중심으로 한 배터리 산업 클러스터 조성은 물론, 지역 기업들의 해외 진출도 확대될 전망이다.

The ‘2026 Battery Charging Show,’ a B2B industrial exhibition integrating secondary batteries and charging technology, will be held from June 24 to 26 at the East Wing of EXCO in Daegu.
This exhibition, the first to be held outside the Seoul metropolitan area, is sponsored by approximately 10 organizations and institutions, including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Daegu City, and KOTRA. The event is hosted by the Battery Charging Show Promotion Committee and organized by Fairground and Yeoljeong MICE. Exhibited items cover the entire battery-related industrial sector, ranging from battery cells, materials, and components to inspection and measurement equipment, safety equipment, ESS, the circular economy, electric vehicles, charging facilities, electronic components, autonomous driving, and smart grids.
During the event, in addition to the main exhibition hall, various programs will be offered, including a special pavilion for metal resources and resource recycling, the Battery Charging Forum, a job fair, open seminars, a special pavilion for new products, and a poster session. The organizers expect that this exhibition will strengthen cooperation among electric vehicle manufacturers, charging service providers, and related equipment companies, and further stimulate commercialization and technological exchange across the industry.
In addition, it is anticipated that the establishment of a battery industry cluster centered on the Gyeongsang region will be facilitated, as well as the expansion of local companies' overseas ventures.
