브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 대표가 최근 각종 의혹이 제기되고 있는 이혜훈 기획예산처 장관 후보자에 대해 지명 철회를 강력히 요구했다.

우리공화당 조원진 대표는 5일 보도자료를 통해 “이혜훈 후보자는 신고 재산만 175억원이 넘고, 최근 10년간 110억원 이상 재산이 증가했다”며 “아들의 대부업체 투자 의혹과 인천공항 개항 직전 영종도 땅 투기 의혹까지 불거지고 있다”고 주장했다. 

이어 “자신의 이익을 위해 얼마나 많은 투기를 했는지 상상하기 어렵다”며 “이런 인물에게 대한민국의 경제와 예산을 맡기는 데 반대한다”고 밝혔다.

조 대표는 이 후보자의 과거 행적도 문제 삼았다. 그는 “국회의원 시절 인턴 직원에게 폭언과 저주를 퍼부은 녹음 파일을 들으면 정치인 이전에 인간적인 양심이 있는지 의문이 든다”며 “‘내가 정말 널 죽였으면 좋겠다’는 발언은 인간으로서 도저히 할 수 없는 말”이라고 비판했다.

또 조 대표는 “이혜훈 전 의원의 정치 행보는 배신을 거듭하며 자신만 살기 위해 몸부림친 처절한 ‘개인의 영달 정치’였다”며 “한마디로 탐욕과 갑질이 넘쳐나는 나쁜 정치인에 불과하다”고 강하게 비난했다.

조 대표는 끝으로 “이재명 대통령은 지금이라도 국민을 우롱하고 대한민국 정치를 배신과 갑질로 얼룩지게 만든 이혜훈 기획예산처 장관 후보자 지명을 철회해야 한다”고 촉구했다.
