【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 행복북구문화재단 대현도서관이 바쁜 일상으로 낮 시간 참여가 어려운 직장인과 시민들을 위해 오는 3월부터 6월까지 ‘야간 인문학 프로그램’을 마련한다.

이 프로그램은 ‘해설이 있는 전시 인문학 — 보는 전시에서 읽는 전시’를 주제로 미술 작품의 시대 배경과 사회적 의미를 쉽고 깊이 있게 들려줄 예정이다. 강연 이후 실제 전시 관람으로 이어질 수 있도록 기획돼 미술에 대한 경험을 한층 넓힐 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

강의는 미술 인문학 전문 강사인 이상헌 씨가 맡아, 매달 한 차례씩 총 4회 진행된다.

첫 번째 강연은 3월 25일 ‘형태를 지우고 빛을 채우다 — J. M. W. Turner’라는 주제로 열리며, 터너의 작품 세계와 함께 빛, 풍경에 대한 작가의 시선을 조명한다. 

4월 22일에는 ‘죽음의 비즈니스 — Damien Hirst’를 통해 현대미술 속 죽음, 자본, 미술 시장의 관계에 대해 논의한다. 

5월 20일엔 ‘시점의 해방: 입체주의의 탄생, Pablo Picasso’ 강연이 이어지며, 입체주의가 어떻게 탄생했고, 예술사적으로 어떤 의미가 있는지 소개할 예정이다.

마지막 6월 24일에는 조선시대 화가 신윤복의 ‘미인도’와 레오나르도 다빈치의 ‘모나리자’를 비교하며 두 작품의 창작 배경과 표현 기법을 탐구한다.

도서관 관계자는 “이번 강연은 단순한 전시 감상을 넘어 작품이 담고 있는 역사와 사회적 맥락을 이해할 수 있도록 기획했다”며 “퇴근 후 누구나 편하게 들를 수 있으니, 미술을 더욱 깊이 경험하고 싶은 시민들의 많은 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.

The Daegu Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation's Daehyun Library will host an "Evening Humanities Program" from March to June for office workers and citizens whose busy schedules make daytime attendance difficult.

The program, themed "Exhibition Humanities with Commentary - Reading Exhibitions from the Viewed Exhibition," will provide an accessible and in-depth understanding of the historical background and social significance of artworks. The program is designed to lead to actual exhibition viewings, further broadening the audience's experience with art.

The lectures will be led by Lee Sang-heon, a specialist in art humanities, and will be held once a month for a total of four sessions.

The first lecture, on March 25th, will be titled "Erasing Form and Filling It with Light - J. M. W. Turner." It will explore Turner's artistic world and his perspectives on light and landscape.

On April 22nd, "The Business of Death - Damien Hirst" will discuss the relationship between death, capital, and the art market in contemporary art.

On May 20th, the lecture "Liberating Perspective: The Birth of Cubism, Pablo Picasso" will follow, introducing the birth of Cubism and its significance in art history.

The final lecture, on June 24th, will compare Joseon Dynasty painter Shin Yun-bok's "Portrait of a Beauty" with Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa," exploring the creative background and expressive techniques of both works.

A library official stated, "This lecture is designed to go beyond simply viewing the exhibition and to help people understand the historical and social contexts embedded in the works. Anyone can stop by after work, so we hope many citizens who wish to experience art more deeply will participate."
