이 예비후보는 13일 제6호 공약을 통해 “경북을 AI 기반 스마트 농수산업의 중심지로 육성해 농어업 경쟁력을 획기적으로 높이겠다”고 밝혔다.

이번 공약의 핵심은 이 후보가 전략 산업으로 내세운 AI·로봇 기술을 농업과 수산업 전반에 도입해 생산성과 효율성을 동시에 높이는 것이다.

이를 위해 ‘스마트 농수산업 데이터 플랫폼’을 구축해 농업 데이터의 체계적인 수집과 활용 기반을 마련할 계획이다. 위성과 AI 기술을 활용한 경북 농지 정밀지도를 구축해 농지 현황을 분석하고 작물 추천, 재해 예측, 농업 생산 최적화, 농지 가치 분석 등을 지원하는 AI 기반 농업 지원 시스템도 도입한다.

또 병해충 예측 시스템과 스마트팜 입지 분석 시스템을 구축해 농가 생산성과 안정성을 높이고, AI 학습 데이터를 공유해 농업 로봇과 스마트팜 기술 고도화를 추진할 방침이다.

이와 함께 농가·기업·연구기관 간 데이터 공동 활용 체계를 구축해 농업 기술 혁신 생태계를 조성하고, 청년 스마트농업 창업단지를 조성해 청년 농업인의 창업과 정착을 지원하겠다고 밝혔다.

수산업 분야에서는 스마트 양식 클러스터를 조성해 AI와 자동화 기술을 접목하고 미래형 수산업 기반을 구축할 계획이다.

이 예비후보는 스마트 농업 데이터 플랫폼을 기반으로 생산·유통·수출을 통합 관리하고 농식품 수출 거점을 조성해 글로벌 유통망 확대도 지원하겠다고 밝혔다. 경북 통합 수출 브랜드를 통해 지역 농산물을 하나의 브랜드로 묶어 글로벌 시장 경쟁력을 높이고, 스마트 농산물 유통단지와 광역 단위 농식품 가공·물류 콜드체인 인프라를 확충해 생산부터 가공·유통까지 이어지는 산업 기반을 강화하겠다는 구상이다.

이와 함께 산림·환경·기후 분야 안전 대책도 제시했다. 국가산단 내 탄소중립 시범단지 조성과 탄소중립 도시 지정을 추진하고, 지방하천 정비와 국가 녹조 대응 종합센터 건립 등을 통해 수질 관리 체계를 강화할 계획이다.

또 산불 예방 시스템 고도화와 함께 소방 로봇과 산불 감시 로봇 등 첨단 장비 도입을 추진하고, 대형 산불 피해 지역에 대한 도 차원의 재난 지원 확대도 약속했다.

이 예비후보는 “경북은 대한민국 농수산업의 중심지인 만큼 AI와 로봇 기술을 접목해 농어업의 미래 경쟁력을 선도해야 한다”며 “농어업이 강한 경북, 청년이 돌아오는 농어촌을 만들겠다”고 강조했다.

한편 이 예비후보는 일주일에 1~2차례씩 분야별 ‘경북중흥 공약’을 발표하고 있으며, 총 10개 분야 공약 가운데 제7호부터 제10호 공약은 이날부터 매일 한 건씩 공개할 예정이다.

The vision envisions enhancing global market competitiveness by consolidating local agricultural products under a single brand through the Gyeongbuk Integrated Export Brand, and strengthening the industrial foundation that spans from production to processing and distribution by expanding smart agricultural product distribution complexes and wide-area cold chain infrastructure for agri-food processing and logistics.

Along with this, safety measures were also presented for the forestry, environment, and climate sectors. The plan is to strengthen the water quality management system by promoting the creation of carbon-neutral pilot complexes within national industrial complexes and the designation of carbon-neutral cities, as well as by improving local rivers and establishing a comprehensive national center for responding to algal blooms.
