【브레이크뉴스 포항】오주호 기자=(재)포항문화재단이 기획·제작한 창극뮤지컬 ‘전설-그들의 이야기’가 오는 16일부터 18일까지 3일간 포항문화재단 유튜브로 공개한다.

이번 창극무지컬은 코로나19로 문화 향유 기회가 줄어든 시민들에게 언택트 공연을 통해 재미와 감동을 선사한다.

창극뮤지컬 ‘전설-그들의 이야기‘는 한국문화예술회관연합회의 ‘2020년 문예회관과 함께하는 방방곡곡 문화공감-문예회관 기획·제작 프로그램’에 선정돼 제작된 공연이다.

포항시무형문화재이수자협회 15인의 이수자가 참여한 이번 공연은 코로나19로 인해 2차례 연기되는 어려움 끝에 비대면 영상 촬영으로 진행되어 온라인으로 보다 많은 관객들과 만나게 된다.

이번 창극뮤지컬 ‘전설-그들의 이야기‘는 우리가 쉽게 접하지 못하고 잘 알지 못했던 전통 무형문화재를 쉽고 재미있는 내용으로 풀어낸 포항의 예술인과 제작 스탭들이 만들어낸 창작 전통 악극이다.

무형문화재 이수자들이 그려내는 살풀이춤, 가야금병창, 대금정악, 정가, 고법, 판소리, 택견과 침선, 자수, 궁시의 전통공예가 어우러진 전통예술의 향연을 맛볼 수 있다.

첫 번째 공연 ‘효시: 전설의 시작'의 내용은 이수자들의 삶의 희로애락을 담은 작품으로, 이수자가 되기 위한 과정과 역경을 보여주는 작품이다.

두 번째 공연 '춘심홍전'은 춘향전, 심청전, 흥부전, 전우치전을 각색해 전통의 음악과 몸짓을 극화한 작품이다.

세 번째 공연 ‘전설 그들의 이야기'는 첫 번째 공연 '효시'와 두 번째 공연 '춘심홍전'이 합쳐진 작품으로 무형문화재 전승자들이 열연을 펼친다.

포항문화재단 문예진흥팀 박창준 팀장은 “창극뮤지컬 ’전설- 그들의 이야기‘ 공연영상을 통해 코로나19로 지친 포항시민들에게 전통예술의 아름다움과 즐거움을 전할 수 있기를 바라며, 시민 여러분들의 많은 관심을 부탁한다”고 말했다.

공연 영상은 16일 17일 오후 6시 30분 ‘효시: 전설의 시작', 오후 7시 30분 '춘심홍전', 그리고 18일 오후 7시 30분 ‘전설: 그들의 이야기'를 포항문화재단 유튜브 채널을 통해 시청할 수 있다.
