이번 업무협약에는 김상동 총장과 스테판 스프로이 한독상공회의소 부회장 등이 참석했다.

이번 업무협약은 경북도립대학교와 한독상공회의소가 아우스빌둥 직업훈련교육의 체계적 운영과 활성화를 위한 상호 협력체계를 구축하기 위해 마련됐다.

‘아우스빌둥(AUSBILDUNG))’은 기업의 현장교육과 학교의 이론교육이 결합된 독일의 선진 기술인력 양성과정으로 현장 직무능력 중심 교육으로 산업체가 원하는 인재를 양성하고자 한다.

국내에서는 한독상공회의소의 주관으로 독일계 자동차 기업과 협력대학들이 연계하여 자동차 분야의 전문인력을 양성하고 있다. 

교육대상은 특성화고, 직업계고교 등의 3학년 학생들이며, 이들은 협력대학과 기업에서 총 36개월(이론교육 12개월, 현장실무교육 24개월 병행)의 교육을 받게 된다. 

경북도립대학교는 2022학년도부터 아우스빌둥 프로그램 교육생으로 선발된 입학생 15명에게 자동차 도장 및 자동차 정비 기술에 관한 이론교육을 진행한다.
