【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=경상북도문화관광공사(이하 공사)와 안동시는 21일 안동시 관광거점도시 지자체 연계협력 사업의 성공적 추진 및 경북 북부권 관광 활성화를 위해 상생회의체를 결성하고 정기 회의를 가졌다.

공사에 따르면 경북 북부권 상생회의체는 안동시가 지난 2020년 1월 문화체육관광부 ‘관광거점도시 육성사업’공모사업에 선정되면서, 지난2020년 6월경북 북부권 11개 시·군 지자체, 한국관광공사, ㈜하나투어와 체결한 협약에 근거해 , 공사와 안동시에서 경북 북부권 11개 시·군 관광마케팅(정책)과 공무원 및 지역관광재단(DMO)으로 결성했다.

이번 1차 정기회의에서는 민·관 상생회의체 결성과 더불어 안동시 관광거점도시 지자체협력사업 5건을(▲경북북부 향토음식 조사 및 스토리텔링명품화 콘텐츠 개발▲공동 관광홍보콘텐츠 개발사업▲문화향유 안동 스마일얼라이언스 사업▲11개 시군 관광활성화 공동교육사업▲스마일 트립200 개발 및 운영 사업)을 소개하고, 사업별 협력에 대한 논의를 진행했다.

이날 상생회의체는 안동시관광거점도시 지자체 연계 사업 협업과 나아가 거점도시사업을 통해서 민·관 관광역량 강화 및 동반성장을 위해 함께 협력을 도모하기로 뜻을 모아, 오는 10월 27일 개최 될‘안동시관광거점도시 협력포럼’과 11월 2차 정기회의를 통해 경북 북부권 관광활성화를 위한 다양한 의견을 제시하고, 지속적으로 소통해 나가기로 협의 했다.

공사와 안동시는 앞으로 경북 북부권 관광 발전에 기여하고, 성공적인안동시관광거점도시 사업을 추진할수 있도록 상생회의체와 소통하고다양한 의견을 수렴 할 계획이다.

김성조 사장은 “상생회의체가 안동시와 경북 북부권관광발전을 위해 앞으로 함께 논의하면서 경북 북부권 관광 네트워크를 구축하고 향후 11개 지자체 공동으로 다양한 콘텐츠를 함께발굴할 수 있는 기회의 장이 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.
