【브레이크뉴스 경주】박영재 기자=동국대학교경주병원(병원장 정호근)은 건강보험심사평가원이 실시한 ‘1차 우울증 외래 적정성평가’에서 1등급을 획득했다고 3일 밝혔다.

병원측에 따르면 이번 평가는 지난 2021년 1월부터 2021년 6월까지 만18세 이상 우울증 외래 신규환자를 진료한 전국병원을 대상으로 이루어졌으며, 우울증 환자의 의료 접근성 및 치료지속성을 높이고 객관적인 평가척도를 활용한 질 높은 의료서비스를 제공하기 위해 시행됐다.

동국대학교경주병원은 첫 방문후 3주 이내 재방문율, 첫 방문후 8주 이내 2회 이상 방문율, 우울증상 초기평가 시행률, 우울증상 재평가 시행률 등 4개 지표 모두 우수한 성적으로 1등급을 받았다.

정호근 병원장은 “앞서 실시되었던 정신건강 입원영역 적정성 평가에 이어 외래환자에 대한 평가도 인정받은 만큼 앞으로 환자들의 아픈 마음을 잘 치료할 수 있도록 진료서비스 유지 및 발전에 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

Dongguk University Gyeongju Hospital (Director Ho-Geun Jeong) announced on the 3rd that it had obtained the first grade in the ‘1st Depression Outpatient Adequacy Assessment’ conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.

Dongguk University Gyeongju Hospital received Grade 1 with excellent results in all four indicators: revisit rate within 3 weeks after the first visit, rate of visits twice or more within 8 weeks after the first visit, rate of initial evaluation of depressive symptoms, and rate of reevaluation of depressive symptoms.

Ho-Geun Jeong, head of the hospital, said, “As the evaluation of outpatients has been recognized following the previous evaluation of the appropriateness of the mental health inpatient area, we will strive to maintain and develop medical services so that patients can be treated well in the future.”
