【브레이크뉴스 상주】이성현 기자=상주시 외서농협 대미배수출단지(조합장 지종락)는 지난 21일 외서농협농산물산지 유통센터에서 2022년 생산 상주 신고배의미국 수출을 위한 선적식을 개최했다고 22일 밝혔다.
시에 따르면 이번 수출하는 신고배는 27.2톤(1억원상당)으로 ㈜리마글러벌(대표 임종세)을 통해 수출됐다.
상주시는 지난해 미국으로 배 1,200(56억 상당)톤을 수출했으며,미국으로제일 많은 물량이 유통되었다. 초창기 미국 수출은한인을 상대로수출을 하였으나 현재에는 다인종 현지인들이 상주배를 즐겨찾고 있다.
대미배수출단지는 지난 2005년 정부지정 원예전문생산단지로 승인받아 꾸준한 수출 확대로 국내시장 수급 조절및 가격안정에 많은 기여를 해왔으며, 올해에도 원황, 화산, 신고 등 상주배의 지속적인 수출을 통해미국시장의 안정적인 판로확보에 주력할 계획이다.
상주시 관계자는 “어려운 환경속에서도 지속적으로 수출하신 생산자농가에게 감사함을 전하고 수출확대를 위하여 행정에서도 함께 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
