【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=한국수산자원공단 동해본부(이하 수산공단, 본부장 이석희)는 지난 17일 학산종합사회복지관(관장 이형)과 지역 사회공헌활동 관련 양해각서를 체결했다고 21일 밝혔다.

수산공단에 따르면 이번 양해각서 체결은 인적·물적 자원을 상호 공유하여 협업을 통해 사회적 책임을 다하고 지역사회에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 진행됐다.

수산공단 동해본부는 지난해 5월부터 현재까지 학산종합사회복지관에서 주관하는 식사 배달 자원봉사에 매주 협업 기관으로 참여하고 있다. 아울러 지속적이고 진정성 있는 사회공헌활동을 추진하고 지역사회에 기여할 예정이다.

이석희 수산공단 동해본부장은 “이번 양해각서 체결을 통하여 지역사회의 어려운 이웃들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바라며, 앞으로도 수산분야 대표 공공기관으로서 지역사회에 이바지할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 전했다.

이에 이형 학산종합사회복지관장은 “지속적으로 교류했던 수산공단 동해본부와 새로운 인연을 맺게 되어 기쁘며, 앞으로 두 기관이 상호협력하여 지역복지 향상에 기여할 것을 기대한다.”고 말했다.
