【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=하회세계탈박물관은 오는 11월 1일부터 2024년 4월 30일까지 ‘여섯번째 안동 하회탈 판화전’을 개최한다고 2일 밝혔다.

이번 전시에는 김상구, 정승원, 민경아, 홍승혜, 이언정, 다미아노 박(박용현)작가가 참여하였다.

특히 프랑스 파리에서 주로 활동하는 다미아노 박작가는 이번에 처음으로 참여하는 작가로 이번 전시에서 하회탈을 대상으로 탈이 내포하고 있는 양면성과 세계, 작가와 대상 간의 관계성을 현상학적으로 탐구하려는 시도로 대상의 이미지를 포지티브/ 네거티브 부분을 함께 형상화하였다.

또 빛에서 얻어진 블루톤 색을 바탕으로 대상과 세계를 구분하고 한지의 구김이나 반복적인 콜라주, 투명하고 겹쳐진 공간을 통해 작가와의 연결성을 구현해 나가고자 했다.

김동표 하회세계탈박물관장은 “하회탈은 대한민국 국보로 지정된 우리의 소중한 문화유산이며 세계적인 걸작품으로 평가받고 있다. 이 하회탈을 또 다른 문화로 탄생시키기 위한 시도로 국내외 유명 정통 판화작가들이 심혈을 기울여 제작한 하회탈 판화작품을 본 박물관 특별전시실에서 선보이게 되었다”고 말했다.

한편 하회세계탈박물관은 ‘사립박물관·미술관 온라인콘텐츠 제작지원사업’에 2022년에 이어 콘텐츠의 지속가능성을 인정받아 2년 연속으로 사업에 선정되는 쾌거를 거두었다.

이 사업은 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국박물관 협회가 주관하는 사업으로 전국사립박물관·미술관 중 30개관만 선정된 사업이다.

올해는 ‘한국의 탈춤’이 세계인류무형문화유산에 등재된 것을 기념하며 우리나라 거의 모든 탈놀이에서 맹활약하는 말뚝이를 주제로 ‘말뚝이, 나오너라!’라는 콘텐츠로 제작했다.

In particular, Damiano Park, who is mainly active in Paris, France, is participating for the first time in this exhibition. In this exhibition, he uses the Hahoe mask as an attempt to phenomenologically explore the duality contained in the mask, the world, and the relationship between the artist and the object. The positive and negative parts were shaped together.

In addition, based on the blue tone color obtained from light, I tried to distinguish the object and the world and realize a connection with the artist through the wrinkles of Korean paper, repetitive collage, and transparent and overlapping spaces.

Meanwhile, Hahoe World Mask Museum achieved the great feat of being selected for the ‘Private Museum and Art Museum Online Content Production Support Project’ for the second year in a row in recognition of the sustainability of its contents in 2022.

This project is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and managed by the Korea Museum Association, and only 30 private museums and art galleries across the country were selected.

This year, in commemoration of the registration of ‘Korean mask dance’ as a World Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, we produced content called ‘Malttugi, come out!’ with the theme of Malttugi, who plays an active part in almost all mask dances in Korea.
