이번 전시는 안동시의 사립박물관 운영지원 사업으로 진행되며, 하회세계탈박물관 특별전시실에서 열릴 예정이다.

전시에 참여하는 작가는 총 6명으로, 김상구, 다미아노박, 민경아, 이언정, 정승원, 홍승혜 등이다. 이들은 서울·경기, 광주, 프랑스에서 활발히 활동하고 있으며, 하회별신굿탈놀이와 하회탈을 관람하고 각자의 시각으로 하회탈을 재해석한 작품들을 선보인다.

이번 판화전은 2018년에 처음 시작되어 올해로 일곱 번째를 맞이하며, 꾸준히 이어지고 있는 전시이다. 하회마을과 하회세계탈박물관을 방문하는 관람객들에게 신선한 볼거리를 제공하며, 하회탈을 새로운 시각으로 만나볼 수 있는 흥미로운 전시가 될 것이다.

Hahoe Mask Museum to Hold 'Seventh Andong Hahoe Mask Print Exhibition'

Hahoe Mask Museum (Director Kim Dong-pyo) announced that it will hold the 'Seventh Andong Hahoe Mask Print Exhibition' from March 10 to 26.

This exhibition is being held as a private museum operation support project of Andong City and will be held in the special exhibition hall of Hahoe Mask Museum.

A total of six artists are participating in the exhibition: Kim Sang-goo, Damiano Park, Min Kyung-ah, Lee Eon-jeong, Jeong Seung-won, and Hong Seung-hye. They are actively working in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gwangju, and France, and will present works that reinterpret Hahoe masks from their own perspectives after watching Hahoe Byeolsingut Mask Play and Hahoe masks.

This print exhibition, which first started in 2018, is now in its seventh year and has been continuously held. It will be an interesting exhibition that will provide a fresh experience to visitors to Hahoe Village and Hahoe Mask Museum, and allow them to experience Hahoe masks from a new perspective.
