【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=(사)대경ICT산업협회(회장 최종태)는 11월 3일 대구디지털혁신진흥원(DIP)에서 삼성SDS 자회사 ㈜미라콤아이앤씨와 함께 ‘지역기업 협력회의’를 개최하고, 스마트팩토리 및 AI 기반 산업 고도화(AX, AI Transformation)를 위한 협력 방안을 논의했다.

이날 회의에는 ▲최종태 대경ICT산업협회 회장 ▲강석립 ㈜미라콤아이앤씨 대표이사 ▲민정기 대구디지털혁신진흥원 원장을 비롯해 협회 회원사 관계자 등 약 20명이 참석했다. 참석자들은 산업 현장의 디지털 전환, AI 응용 확대, 생산 혁신 구조 구축 등 실질적인 상생 협력 전략을 집중 논의했다.

강석립 ㈜미라콤아이앤씨 대표이사는 “AI 활용 역량에 따라 기업 간 생산성과 경쟁력이 급격히 달라지고 있다”며, “중소·중견기업이 높은 비용 부담 없이 AX 전환을 추진할 수 있도록 클라우드 기반의 경량형 디지털트윈 솔루션을 개발 중”이라고 밝혔다.

그는 또 “기술력이 있는 지역 기업에는 투자 및 협업 기회를 제공하고, 필요 시 계열사 캐피탈과 연계한 금융 지원도 검토할 계획”이라고 덧붙였다.

최종태 회장은 “삼성이 대구에서 출발해 세계적인 기업이 되었듯, 대구는 한국 산업화의 시작점이었다”며 “이제는 제조 기반 위에 AI와 첨단 기술을 결합해 AX(산업 전환)의 중심 도시로 도약해야 한다”고 강조했다.

또한 “수성알파시티를 중심으로 대기업과 지역 기업이 기술·인력·데이터를 공유하는 실질적 혁신 생태계를 구축하겠다”고 밝혔다.

민정기 대구디지털혁신진흥원 원장도 “AI·데이터 기반 협업이 지역 경쟁력의 핵심”이라며 “공동 R&D 사업을 통한 대기업-중소기업 간 실질적 협력 구조를 만들어야 한다”고 말했다.

이날 참석자들은 ▲AI·AX 산업 전환 ▲스마트팩토리 확산 ▲지역 인재 유출 방지 등을 주요 의제로 논의했으며, 이달 중 2차 회의를 열어 구체적인 실행 계획을 마련하기로 했다.

(사)대경ICT산업협회는 이번 협의를 계기로 지역 ICT 기업의 AX 전환 지원과 대기업 연계형 상생 모델 구축을 본격 추진할 방침이다.

Daegyeong ICT Industry Association and Miracom I&C Discuss Cooperation with Local ICT Companies on AX (AI Transformation)

The Daegyeong ICT Industry Association (Chairman Choi Jong-tae) and Miracom I&C, a subsidiary of Samsung SDS, held a "Regional Business Cooperation Meeting" at the Daegu Digital Innovation Agency (DIP) on November 3rd. Approximately 20 people attended the meeting, including Choi Jong-tae, Chairman of the Daegyeong ICT Industry Association; Kang Seok-lip, CEO of Miracom I&C; and Min Jeong-gi, President of the Daegu Digital Innovation Agency, as well as representatives from association member companies.

Attendees focused on practical, win-win cooperation strategies, including digital transformation in industrial settings, expanding AI applications, and establishing innovative production structures.

Kang Seok-rip, CEO of Miracom I&C, stated, "Productivity and competitiveness among companies are rapidly changing depending on their AI capabilities." He added, "We are developing a lightweight, cloud-based digital twin solution to enable SMEs to transition to AX without the high cost burden."

He added, "We plan to provide investment and collaboration opportunities to local companies with technological prowess, and, if necessary, consider financial support in conjunction with affiliated capital."

Chairman Choi Jong-tae emphasized, "Just as Samsung began in Daegu and became a global company, Daegu was the starting point of Korea's industrialization." He added, "Now, we must combine AI and cutting-edge technologies on top of our manufacturing foundation to leap forward as a hub for AX (industrial transformation)."

He also stated, "We will build a practical innovation ecosystem centered around Suseong Alpha City, where large corporations and local companies can share technology, talent, and data."

Min Jeong-gi, President of the Daegu Digital Innovation Promotion Agency, also stated, "AI and data-based collaboration are key to regional competitiveness," adding, "We must establish a practical cooperative structure between large corporations and SMEs through joint R&D projects."

Attendees discussed key topics, including the transition to AI and AX industries, the expansion of smart factories, and the prevention of local talent drain. They agreed to hold a second meeting this month to develop a concrete implementation plan.

The Daegu ICT Industry Association plans to use this meeting as a catalyst to actively support local ICT companies' transition to AX and establish a win-win model that links large corporations.
