【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=(사)대경ICT산업협회(회장 최종태)는 지난 10월 22일부터 24일까지 대구엑스포에서 열린 ‘2025 미래혁신기술박람회(FIX 2025)’ 주요 컨퍼런스 중 하나인 ‘AX INSIGHT 2025 컨퍼런스’와 제3차 대구경북 CISO 협의회에 참석했다고 밝혔다.

이번 컨퍼런스는 지역 공공기관과 민간 기업의 최고정보보호책임자(CISO)를 대상으로 정보보호 정책, 교육사업, 실무 전략 등을 공유하는 자리로 마련됐다.

주요 발표 세션으로는 △CISO 지정신고제도 및 대구·경북 CISO 협의회 소개(중앙전파관리소), △CISO를 위한 정보보호 교육사업 소개(한국정보보호산업협회 강주영 부원장), △정보보호 우수사례(한국전력기술 김연석 실장), △중소기업 CISO의 역할과 전략((주)에스엠에스 서미숙 대표) 등 총 4개의 세션이 진행돼 현직 CISO와 정보보안 관계자들의 높은 관심을 받았다.

대구시는 이번 FIX 2025를 통해 정보보안 산업을 지역 AI·ICT 생태계의 핵심 성장축으로 육성할 계획을 밝혔으며, AI, 빅데이터, 스마트시티 등 신기술 분야에서 보안 기술을 산업 전반 필수 인프라로 자리매김시키기 위해 행정적 지원과 기업 협력 체계를 강화할 방침이다.

대경ICT산업협회 최종태 회장은 “이번 정보보호 컨퍼런스와 포럼은 AI 산업 성장과 정보보호의 균형을 동시에 모색하는 의미 있는 자리였다”며, “AX(AI 대전환) 시대를 맞아 방대한 데이터와 정보들이 움직이는 환경에서 정보보호사업은 하나의 산업군으로 자리 잡고, AX 시대의 보험과 같은 역할을 수행할 것”이라고 평가했다.

류동현 대구광역시 ABB산업과장은 “정보보호는 더 이상 선택이 아닌 경쟁력의 기반”이라며, “이번 컨퍼런스와 CISO 포럼을 계기로 AI·보안 융합 산업 생태계 조성을 적극 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Daegyeong ICT Industry Association (Chairman Choi Jong-tae) announced that it participated in the 'AX INSIGHT 2025 Conference,' one of the main conferences of the '2025 Future Innovation Technology Expo (FIX 2025),' held at Daegu Expo from October 22nd to 24th, and the 3rd Daegu-Gyeongbuk CISO Council.

This conference was designed to share information security policies, training programs, and practical strategies with Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) from local public and private organizations.

These four sessions garnered significant attention from current CISOs and information security professionals.

Through FIX 2025, the city of Daegu announced plans to foster the information security industry as a key growth engine for the local AI/ICT ecosystem. The city plans to strengthen administrative support and corporate cooperation to establish security technologies as essential infrastructure across emerging technologies such as AI, big data, and smart cities.

Daegu ICT Industry Association Chairman Choi Jong-tae said, "This information security conference and forum was a meaningful opportunity to simultaneously explore the balance between AI industry growth and information security." He added, "In the era of AX (AI Transformation), where massive amounts of data and information are in motion, the information security business will establish itself as a distinct industry and play a role similar to insurance in the AX era."

Dong-hyun Ryu, Director of the ABB Industrial Division of Daegu Metropolitan City, stated, "Information security is no longer an option but the foundation of competitiveness. We will actively pursue the creation of an AI-security convergence industry ecosystem through this conference and CISO Forum."
