이번 시험에는 1차 합격자 229명이 응시해 총 149명을 선발할 예정이다.

선발 인원을 살펴보면, 일반교과 106명, 보건 12명, 사서 4명, 전문상담 14명, 영양 9명, 특수 중등 2명, 장애 선발 2명 등이다. 한편, 장애인 구분모집으로 예정됐던 국어·수학·화학·일반사회·도덕·체육·영어·기술·정보·보건 등 10개 과목은 응시자가 없어 선발에서 제외됐다.
이번 2차 시험 응시자 중 약 65%가 최종 합격하게 된다. 대구시교육청은 시험의 공정성과 신뢰성 확보에 중점을 두고 운영할 방침이다.
최종 합격자 발표는 2월 5일 대구시교육청 누리집에서 이뤄진다. 합격자는 이후 임용후보자 등록과 임용 통보 등 후속 절차를 거쳐 학교 현장에 배치될 예정이다.
대구시교육청 관계자는 “응시생의 안전과 공정한 시험 운영을 최우선으로 모든 준비를 마쳤다”며 “실기평가와 수업실연, 면접이 원활히 진행될 수 있도록 관리에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
