【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구경북권 이랜드리테일에서 오는 11월 26일 오전 11시부터 2020 사랑 나눔 일환으로 ‘코로나19 이겨내자, 사랑의 건강 김장나눔’ 행사를 동아백화점 쇼핑점 정문 광장에서 진행한다고 25일 밝혔다. 

이번 행사는 대경권 이랜드리테일이 지난 2010년 동아백화점과 한가족이 된 이후 11년동안 매년 지역내에서 진행하고 있는 사회공헌 활동으로서, 이랜드 복지재단이 후원하고 이랜드리테일과 대구광역시, 대구공동모금회 등 대구유수 복지단체기관이 주관하는 행사이다.

특히 이번 2020 사랑나눔 김장김치 봉사활동은 전국에서 최초로 드라이브 스루 방식으로 진행하는데, 코로나19 영향, 안전과 건강한 봉사활동 대표우수사례를 만들고자 계획되었다고 밝혔다. 

이날 진행은 사전 김치통에 담그진 김장김치를 지게차를 통하여 쇼핑점 광장에 이동 적재한후 각 지역 종합사회복지시설 차량을 시간대별로 배차하여 대경권 이랜드리테일(동아백화점,NC아울렛)봉사단이 드라이브 스루방식으로 담그진 김장김치를 지정된 차량에 실어 줄 계획으로, 4,000포기의 김치를 지역내 독거어르신/장애인세대, 결식아동/청소년세대가정 등 총 2,000가정에 전달하게 된다. 

한편 대경권 이랜드리테일(동아백화점, NC아울렛)봉사단은 2010년 동아백화점이 이랜드그룹의 가족으로 새롭게 출발하면서부터 지역 유통업계 최대 규모인 950명의 봉사단원으로 구성, 지역사회공헌 활동을 진행하고 있으며, 이랜드그룹 본사에서도 사회공헌활동 우수사례로 선정할 만큼 뜨거운 반응과 함께 출범이후 현재까지 대경권 지역 나눔 봉사활동에 최우선적인 지원과 배려를 보내고 있다.

또한 2010년부터 현재까지 진행하고 있는 지역내 대표적인 사회공헌 활동으로는 매달 지역내에 위치한 지점에서 각각 진행하고 있는 지역소외계층대상 사랑의 장바구니 봉사활동를 비롯 매년 연말.하반기에 진행하고 있는 김장나눔, 사랑의 연탄나눔 봉사활동, 이외에 불우.조손가정 무료문화행사진행, 다문화가정 후원 및 미혼모 가정돕기, 복지관 돕기 바자회 및 자원봉사를 진행하고 있으며, 대구지하철사고 및 팔달신시장.서문시장 화재 등 지역내 대형사건사고 발생시에도 성금 및 물품으로 1억원에서 10억원까지 대구광역시 및 대구시 사회복지협의회에 전달하기도 했다.
