이번 ‘식중독 신속검사 차량’은 식중독균을 신속하게 확인할 수 있는검사 장비를 설치한 이동식 버스로, 신속검사실, 회의실, 전처리실, 유전자분석실 등으로 구성했다.
차량 내부에는 실시간 유전자 증폭장치(Real-Time PCR) 등검사 장비를 장착하여, 병원성대장균 등 식중독균 17종 35개 유전자를4시간 안에 신속검사 할 수 있도록 하였고, 차량 외부에는 대형 모니터를 설치하여 ‘손씻기 요령’ 등 홍보영상을 상영하면서 식중독 예방을 위한 현장 교육과 홍보도 동시에진행한다.
