POSTECH-북경대학교 공동 학술대회는 미국 산업응용수학학회(SIAM) POSTECH 지부와 북경대학교 지부 학생들이 공동으로 주최하는 학술대회로, 대회 기간 중 참여자들은 사이언티픽 컴퓨팅(Scientific Computing) 분야에 대한 연구 아이디어를 공유한다.

특히, 기조연설자로 미국 펜실베이니아대(University of Pennsylvania seas, UPenn) 파리스 퍼디카리스(Pars Perdikaris) 교수와 중국과학원(Chinese Academy of Science)의 타오 자우(Tao Zhou) 교수를 초청해 관련 분야에 대한 연구발표를 듣고, 학생들과 토론 시간을 가질 예정이다.
