 RIST에 따르면 ‘포항지역 민산관 기술협력사업’ 추진을 위해 포항시와 포항상공회의소에서는 중소기업 애로기술 발굴과 사업비를 지원하고 있다.

특히 포항산업과학연구원에서는 우수한 연구∙기술인력을 활용해 중소기업 애로기술에 대해 연구개발과 기술지도를 제공하고 있으며 그리고 RIST가 보유하고 있는 첨단 시험분석 장비를 이용해 분석 데이터를 제공하고 있다..

지난 25년간 21회 사업을 추진하였으며 연평균 4건의 연구개발 및 기술지도를 지원했으며, 시험 분석의 경우 연평균 39개사에 대해 105건의 시험분석 데이터를 제공했다.

포항상공회의소(회장문충도) 주관으로 지난 3월31일까지 ‘2023년 지역중소기업 애로기술 수요조사’를 실시했으며, 연구개발 및 기술자문에 대해 8개사가 신청했고, 시험분석에 대해15개사가 신청을 했다.
