도박을 함께 한 손님 8명은도박혐의, 업주에 대해서는 도박, 게임산업진흥에 관한 법률위반으로 입건했으며 압수한 컴퓨터 5대를 검찰에 송치할 예정이다.
성주경찰서 관계자는 “최근 어렵고 힘든 사회분위기를틈타 가정집에까지 침투하여 서민경제를 위협하며늘어나고 있는 사행성 불법게임장에대해 지속적이고 강력한 단속을 실시해 불법게임장을 뿌리뽑아성주군민 안전을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
