【브레이크뉴스 영양】이성현 기자=경상북도영양교육지원청(교육장 김유희)은 7일, 8일 1박 2일간 영양군다문화가족센터와 연계하여 어울림가족 은하수 캠프를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 캠프는‘카라반 캠핑 감성 여행을 떠나요’라는 주제로 초․중학생 자녀를 둔 다문화가정의 의사소통 증진 및 긍정적 정체성 형성을 위해 진행되었다.

캠프에 참여한 40여명의 다문화 가족들은 안동 임하호 카라반 캠핑장에 도착해서 짐을 풀고 먼저 수성레저타운에서 다양한 물놀이를 즐기며 가족과 추억을 쌓았다. 저녁에는 월영교아래에서 문보트를 타며 밤하늘 달빛이 잔잔한 강물이 만나는 아름다운 풍경을 가족과 보면서 특별한 시간을 보냈다.

캠프에 참석한 학부모는“바쁜 일상을 보내느라 가족과 추억을 만들 기회가 적어 늘 아쉬웠는데, 이번 캠프에 참가해서 가족과 함께 좋은 추억을 남길 수 있었고 가족의 소중함을 느끼는 시간이 되었다.”라고 소감을 남겼다.

김유희 교육장은“이번 캠프를 통해 서로의 문화를 이해하고 가족 간 좋은 추억을 쌓아 친밀감을 증대시킬 수 있는 기회가 되었길 바란다. 앞으로 다문화가족지원센터와 협력하여 다문화 가족과 일반 가족이 함께 어울릴 수 있는프로그램을 추진하겠다.”고 전했다.

한편 영양군은 경상북도에서 전체 학생 대비 다문화 학생 비율이 가장 높은 지역이다. 이런 지역 상황을 반영하여 영양교육지원청은 다문화가족센터와 협력하여 다양한 사업을 추진하고 있다.

The 40 multicultural families who participated in the camp arrived at the Andong Imhaho Caravan Camping Site, unpacked, and first enjoyed various water activities at Susung Leisure Town to make memories with their families. In the evening, they had a special time with their families while riding a moonboat under Wolyeong Bridge and looking at the beautiful scenery of the moonlight in the night sky meeting the calm river.

A parent who attended the camp said, “I always felt regretful that I didn’t have many opportunities to make memories with my family due to my busy daily life, but by participating in this camp, I was able to make good memories with my family and it was a time to feel the importance of family.”

Superintendent Kim Yu-hee said, “I hope this camp will be an opportunity to understand each other’s cultures and build good memories among families, thereby increasing intimacy. In the future, we will work with the Multicultural Family Support Center to promote programs where multicultural families and regular families can get together.” Meanwhile, Yeongyang County has the highest ratio of multicultural students to total students in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Reflecting this regional situation, Yeongyang Education Support Office is promoting various projects in cooperation with the Multicultural Family Center.
