대구시청자미디어센터는 시청자미디어재단이 운영하는 기관으로, 2023년 12월 설립되어 대구·경북 지역 주민을 대상으로 다양한 미디어 교육과 체험 프로그램을 제공하고 있다.
협약을 통해 대구시청자미디어센터는 중·고등학교를 대상으로 ‘미디어 On-DAY’와 ‘방송·AI 기술 활용 미디어 문해력 향상 체험’ 등 두 가지 교육 프로그램을 무상으로 지원한다.
‘미디어 On-DAY’는 딥페이크 역기능 예방 교육과 함께 성우, 오디오 엔지니어, PD 등의 역할을 체험할 수 있는 ‘폴리 사운드 체험형 교육’으로 구성되어 있다.
‘방송·AI 기술 활용 체험’ 프로그램은 TV, 라디오 DJ, 오디오 콘텐츠 제작 등을 직접 경험해보는 활동 중심 교육이다.
강은희 교육감은 “학생들이 전문적인 디지털 미디어 교육을 받을 수 있도록 협력해준 대구시청자미디어센터에 감사드린다”며, “앞으로도 관련 기관과 협력해 미디어 교육을 확대하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education is joining hands with the Daegu City Viewers Media Center to improve the digital media literacy of local students.

Superintendent Kang Eun-hee said, “I would like to thank the Daegu City Viewers’ Media Center for cooperating so that students could receive professional digital media education,” and added, “We will continue to expand media education by cooperating with related organizations.”
