진흥원은 2026년을 앞두고 지역사회 내 폭력 예방에 대한 인식 제고를 위해 ‘찾아가는 폭력예방교육’ 사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다. 교육을 희망하는 단체의 신청은 현재 받고 있다.
이번 교육은 대구지역 내 10인 이상 민간 단체나 모임을 대상으로 진행된다. 소규모 사업장, 학부모 모임, 이주민 단체 등 다양한 단체의 신청도 가능하다. 교육비는 전액 무료다.
교육 내용은 성폭력, 가정폭력, 성희롱, 성매매, 디지털 성범죄, 교제폭력 등 다양한 주제 가운데 단체의 특성과 요구에 맞춰 선택할 수 있다. 교육은 전문 강사가 직접 현장을 찾아 참여형 방식으로 진행한다.
신청은 예산 소진 시까지 선착순으로 접수한다. 전화나 여성가족부 예방교육 통합관리 시스템을 통해 신청할 수 있다.
대구행복진흥원 관계자는 “최근 디지털 성범죄와 교제폭력 등 다양한 유형의 폭력 문제가 사회 전반으로 확산되고 있다”며 “지역 공동체 차원의 예방 교육이 더욱 중요하다. 단체 맞춤형 교육을 통해 시민의 인식 개선과 안전한 지역사회 조성에 보탬이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
