경북소방본부 통계에 따르면, 연휴기간 중 119신고횟수는 총 1만2984건으로 전년대비 31.6% 감소했다. 화재피해 발생은 23건으로 전년대비 21.1% 증가했으며, 인명피해 부상 2명, 재산피해 6천여만원이 발생했다.

구조활동은 총 492회 출동해 66명의 소중한 인명을 구했으며, 구급활동은 총 1642회 출동하여 1245명을 인근 병의원으로 이송했다. 이는 전년대비 각각 61.3%와 4.4%가 감소한 수치이다.

또한 연휴기간 병의원 안내 등 구급상황관리센터 상담건수도 2485회 이루어져 도민들의 불편을 해소하는데 많은 도움을 주었다.

지난해와 비교하여 구조, 구급 출동 건이 감소한 것은 올해 추석을 정부에서 코로나 방역기간으로 지정한 결과로, 연휴기간 도민들의 야외활동과 이동이 줄고 가정에 머무는 시간이 늘어난 영향으로 분석된다.
