경상북도의회에 따르면 이번 조례안은 지역 생산자재 구매 및 사용 홍보 활동, 지역건설산업체의 공동도급 비율과 하도급 비율 상향, 지역건설산업체 수주 실적 공표 등의 내용을 포함하고 있다.

박영환도의원은 “조례안 통해 경상북도교육청에서 시행하는 건설공사에 있어서 지역건설산업체의 참여를 독려함으로써, 지역건설산업의 육성과 지역경제 발전에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다.

이번 조례안은 경상북도의회 건설소방위원회 심의를 거쳐 3월 16일본회의를 통과할 예정이다.
