존경하는 경상북도 도민 여러분!

2022년 새해가 밝았습니다. 금년 한해 더욱 건강하시고 바라는 일이 모두 이루어지길 기원합니다. 무엇보다 코로나를 물리치고 일상이 회복되기를 간절히 바랍니다.

임인년(壬寅年)은 호랑이 해입니다. 호랑이는 우리 민족과는 떼려야 뗄 수 없는 강인함과 용맹함을 상징하는 영물입니다. 이런 호랑이도 토끼를 잡을 때는 죽을힘을 다한다고 했습니다. 모두가 어렵고 힘들다고 하는 지금이야말로 그런 간절함과 절박함을 에너지로 삼아야 합니다. 새해에는 우리 모두의 마음속에 할 수 있다는 자신감과 자긍심을 가득 채워 희망의 길을 만들 수 있기를 기대합니다.

경상북도는 올 한해 민생을 최우선에 두고 경제를 살리는 데 주력하면서, 미래 경북 대전환의 발판을 마련해 가겠습니다. 올해 재정의 70%를 상반기에 조기집행 하는 등 민생경제 회복에 도정의 모든 역량을 집중하겠습니다.

교통‧관광 분야를 중심으로 대구‧경북 특별지방자치단체를 설립하고 로봇, 미래차, 바이오 협력프로젝트를 추진하여 국가균형발전의 새로운 성장판이 되도록 하겠습니다. 또한 투 포트(Two-Port) 시대 공항․항만 경제권 본격화와 4차 산업혁명 대전환 프로젝트를 추진하겠습니다.

탄소중립 시대를 맞아 환동해권 전역을 원자력, 수소, 풍력의 3대 미래 에너지 경제권 육성에도 박차를 가하겠습니다.

사랑하는 도민 여러분!

2년 넘게 이어지고 있는 코로나로 인해 민생이 너무나 힘듭니다. 그럼에도 위기를 기회로 바꾸어온 경북의 정신으로 희망을 하나하나 만들어왔습니다. 아직 갈 길이 멀고 할 일도 많습니다.

이 어려움을 이겨내고 경상북도를 확 바꿔서 새로운 시대를 앞서 열어가겠습니다. 호랑이 기상으로 당당한 경상북도를 만들겠습니다.

힘을 모아주시기 바랍니다. 그래서 우리 모두 임인년(壬寅年)을 새로운 도약과 대전환의 해로 만들어 갑시다. 올 한해도 웃음과 행복이 가득하시기를 기원합니다. 새해 복 많이 받으십시오.

We will focus all our capabilities on the recovery of the people's livelihood economy by executing 70% of this year's budget early in the first half of the year.
