【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=DGB캐피탈(대표이사 김병희)이 전쟁을 피해 국내로 피난 온 우크라이나 고려인 난민 130가구를 지원하기 위해 ‘사랑의 희망박스 전달식’을 진행했다고 1일 밝혔다.

우크라이나 전쟁으로 현재 국내에 2,000여 명 이상의 고려인 피난민이 입국한 것으로 알려진다.

고려인지원단체인 ‘(사)너머’에서 이들을 돕기 위해 노력하고 있으나 역부족이라는 소식을 접한 DGB패밀리봉사단은 NGO단체인 굿피플과 혹한기를 앞두고 필요한 생필품과 식료품을 마련했다.

김영숙 고려인너머 센터장은 “전쟁을 피해 탈출한 이들 중 상당수가 거주지가 불안정하고 비자 문제로 직장을 구할 수 없어 가족 전체가 경제적 어려움에 직면해 있다.”고 밝혔다. 

DGB캐피탈 관계자는 “국경을 넘어온 이들의 아픔을 외면할 수 없어 인도주의적인 측면에서 이번 지원을 하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 아픔이 있는 곳에 직접 찾아가 돕는 기업시민의 역할을 다할 것”이라고 전했다.
