서울평화문화대상은 서울평화문화대상위원회(위원장 김일윤 대한민국헌정회장)'가 정치‧외교‧경제‧교육‧문화 등 전문분야 별로 공헌한 인사를 선정해 시상하는 상이다.

김명국 의장은 재선 출신 고령군의회 의장으로,평소 열정적인 의정활동을 펼치며 농산물 소비부진, 인력수급 문제 등 농업인들의 어려움을 함께 극복하기 위해 노력하며 농업진흥에 크게 기여한 점을 높게 평가받았다.

김명국 의장은 “소신 있는 의정활동을 펼치도록격려해주신 군민 여러분께 감사드리며, 지역의 심부름꾼으로서 앞으로도우리 농업·농촌 발전과 현안 해결을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고수상 소감을 밝혔다.

Chairman Kim Myeong-guk of the Goryeong-gun Council won the Agricultural Promotion Autonomy Award at the ‘2022 Seoul Peace and Culture Awards’ ceremony held on November 25th.

The Seoul Peace and Culture Award is an award given by the Seoul Peace and Culture Awards Committee (Chairman Kim Il-yoon, President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea) by selecting and awarding individuals who have contributed in each professional field, such as politics, diplomacy, economy, education, and culture.

 Chairman Kim Myeong-guk, who was re-elected as the chairman of the Goryeong-gun Council, was highly praised for his contribution to the promotion of agriculture by carrying out passionate legislative activities and striving to overcome difficulties of farmers such as sluggish consumption of agricultural products and problems with manpower supply.
