【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자 = 최근 사표를 제출하고 예비후보 등록 등 충선 출마 절차에 참여하고 있는 용산 출신 일부 출마자들의 마음이 타들어가고 있다는 제보들이 이어지고 있다. 

용산 프리미엄은 고사하고 출마 준비 등을 위한 시간이 절대적으로 부족한데다, 이미 다른 예비후보들의 경우 조직과 지역 기반을 구축해 놓은 데 반해 용산 출신은 그 어느 것 하나를 구축하기도 버거운 상태이기 때문.

이들 용산 출신 예비후보 대부분은 행정관 출신들이다. 이들은 각기 역할에 따라 3~5급 정도로 나뉘는 데 이들의 상관으로는 비서관과 선임행정관이 있고, 행정관의 인사는 이들의 추천  및 동의 절차를 거쳐 비서실장이 사실상 결정하지만 일부는 대통령과 상의를 하기도 한다. 

때문에 대통령과는 직접 접촉할 기회는 많지 않지만, 대선 당시 캠프에서 함께 활동했던 인물은 함께 데려가는 등 행정관 등 일부 가운데는 VIP가 챙기는 경우도 있다. 그러나 행정관 대부분은 직장 개념일 뿐이다. 대통령과 직접 연결 짓는 것은 무리라는 지적은 이 때문이다. 

그럼에도 대통령은 이들 용산 출신 총선 출마자들의 선거 전략에 자신의 의지와는 상관없이 소환되고 있다. 이들은 용산과 대통령을 적극적으로 자신의 선거에 개입시키고 싶어 한다. 

대구와 경북에서 내년 총선에 출마하려는 행정관 출신들도 다르지 않다. 과거 박근혜 전 대통령 시절 그랬듯, 이들 역시 윤석열 대통령과의 각별한 관계임을 본인들 스스로가 과시하고 다니거나 그런 이미지를 위해 함께 찍은 사진을 퇴직금조로 가지고 나와 현수막에 삽입하기도 한다.

그러나, 최근 한 두달 사이 사표를 내고 출마를 선언한 이들 용산 출신들.  사진 외에는 아무런 프리미엄을 받지 못하자, 일부 출마자들의 입에서는 벌써 볼멘소리도 나오고 있는 확인되고 있다.   

용산 행정관 출신 출마자를 지원하고 있는 A 씨는 최근 본지에 “(용산에)사표를 제출하고 나와보니 기대했던 것보다 훨씬 삭막하고 허허벌판이라고 하더라. 무슨 프리미엄이라도 있을 줄 알았는데 최근에는 공천 방식도 경선으로 굳어지는 것 같은 분위기가 강해지니 마음이 불안해지는 모양이다. 이럴 줄 알았으면 (용산의) 만류에도 불구하고 일찌감치 사표 쓰고 나와 선거 준비했어야 하는 것 아니었는지 후회하고 있는 것 같다”고 전했다.

실제, 어떤 사정에서인지는 모르겠으나 늦게 현장에 뛰어든 이들은 조직 구성이 쉽지 않은 것으로 관측되고 있다. 입부 지역에서는 나온다던 사람이 늦어지면서 기대가 실망으로 이어지는 사례도 발생, 다른 후보를 선택하는 상황도 빈번해졌다. 

조직 구성이 힘들어지다 보니 캠프 구성의 면면도 예상보다 퀄리티가 떨어진다는 분석이다. 여기에 당내 분위기와 공천 방식도 이들에게 불리하게 돌아갈 것이란 전망도 나오고 있다. 특히 문제는 경선이다. 늦게 준비한 탓에 이들에게 경선은 필패다. 그러나 주민들은 이미 경선을 기정사실화하는 분위기다. 실제 지역에서는 전략 등 지역민들의 의견과 배치되는 공천에 대하여는 매우 부정적인 기류까지 흐르고 있다.

대구 지역 한 유권자는 “선거 때마다 자신이 마치 선택을 받고 내려온 것처럼 행세를 하는 이들이 있는데 과거의 역사가 증명하듯 이들에게는 아무런 약속과 프리미엄도 없다”며 “지난 출마 때 그런 방식으로 내려왔던 그 사람이 이번에도 같은 방식으로 내려왔다. 그런 사람들은 정치하기 이전에 혼나야 한다”고 말했다.

한편, 내년 총선에 대구경북지역에서 비서관, 행정관 출신으로 출마하거나 예정인 인사는 10여명에 이르고 있다.

As they did in the past during the time of former President Park Geun-hye, they also go around showing off their special relationship with President Yoon Seok-yeol, or take photos of them together as retirement funds and insert them into banners to create that image.

However, these Yongsan natives have resigned in the past month or two and declared their candidacy.

It is already confirmed that some candidates are expressing their displeasure as they receive no premium other than the photo.

Mr. A, who is supporting a candidate from the Yongsan administrative office, recently told this newspaper, “When I submitted my resignation (to Yongsan) and came out, they said it was much more desolate and empty than I expected. I thought there would be some sort of premium, but recently the atmosphere seems to be getting stronger as the nomination method is becoming more of a primary election, so I feel uneasy. “If I had known this would happen, I should have resigned early and prepared for the election despite (Yongsan’s) dissuasion,” he said.

In reality, I don't know what the circumstances are, but it is observed that those who entered the field late are not finding it easy to form an organization. In areas where candidates were elected, there were cases where expectations turned into disappointment as people were delayed, and situations in which other candidates were chosen became frequent.

The analysis is that as organizational structure becomes more difficult, the quality of the camp structure is lower than expected. In addition, there are predictions that the atmosphere within the party and the nomination method will be unfavorable to them. The primary issue is particularly problematic. A voter in the Daegu area said, “There are people who act as if they were chosen every time there is an election, but as past history proves, there are no promises or premiums for these people.” It came down the same way. “Those people should be scolded before they get involved in politics,” he said.

Meanwhile, in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region in next year's general election, there are about 10 people who are former secretaries or administrators or are planning to run.
