이번 훈련은 임무에 기초한 동계 작전수행능력 검증 및 확고한 전투준비태세확립과 부대별 특성에 맞는 임무수행능력배양하고 민·관·군·경·소방통합방위작전능력 숙달에 중점을 두고 훈련을 실시할 예정이다.

50보병사단 관계자는 “혹한기 전술훈련 기간 실제 병력 및 장비의 이동이 계획되어 있으니다소 불편하시더라도 주민 여러분의 양해를 부탁드리며, 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다.”고 밝혔다.

한편 50사단은 ‘대구와 경북을 수호하는 가장 강한 힘’으로써 소임을 다하기위해 다양하고 창의적인 훈련을 지속적으로 실시하고 있다.
