포항제철소에 따르면 이번 공연은 지역사회와 함께하는 문화행사의 일환으로 기획됐으며, 직원들과 포항 시민들을 대상으로 총 5회에 걸쳐 진행됐다. 포항제철소는 가족 단위 관객들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 마술 공연을 통해 따뜻한 추억을 선사하기 위해 이번 행사를 마련했다.
콘서트에는 이경창, 손미정, 박준영, 이대성 등 국내 인기 마술사 4인이 출연해 약 80분간 화려한 무대를 선보였다. 환상적인 연출과 관객 참여형 마술 퍼포먼스는 아이들은 물론 어른들의 큰 호응을 얻으며 공연장을 가득 채운 웃음과 감탄을 자아냈다.
공연을 관람한 한 시민은 “아이들이 너무 좋아해 함께 온 보람이 컸다”며 “가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 이런 문화행사를 준비해준 포항제철소에 감사한다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
포항제철소 관계자는 “가정의 달을 맞아 지역민들과 직원들이 가족과 함께 특별한 시간을 보낼 수 있도록 공연을 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 다양한 문화 행사를 꾸준히 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 1980년에 개관한 포스코 효자아트홀은 매년 영화, 음악회, 연극, 뮤지컬 등 다양한 공연을 통해 지역민들의 문화 향유 기회를 확대해 오고 있다. 포항제철소는 앞으로도 지역 문화·예술 발전을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영할 방침이다.
