【브레이크뉴스 군위】이성현 기자=대구광역시 군위군의회(의장 최규종)는 지난 8일 제292회 임시회를 개회하고 오는 11일까지 4일간의 회기에 들어갔다.

이번 임시회에서는 '2025년도 제3회 추가경정예산안 및 기금운용계획변경안'을 비롯해 '군위군 지역아동센터 운영 및 지원에 관한 조례안', '생활폐기물 수집·운반 대행업체 평가 조례 일부개정조례안', '안전보안관 운영 조례안', '군위인재양성원 설립 및 운영 조례 일부개정조례안' 등 주요 안건이 상정됐다.

또한 의원 발의로 마련된 '노인교육 지원에 관한 조례안', '아동보호구역 운영 조례안', '주차장 조례 일부개정조례안', '의원 의정활동비·월정수당 및 여비지급 조례 일부개정조례안' 등 다수의 조례안도 함께 심의된다.

안건 심의에 앞서 박운표 의원은 ‘충혼탑 이전 및 참배 환경 개선 필요성’을, 장철식 의원은 ‘파크골프장 운영·관리 방안과 향후 추진 방향’을, 홍복순 의원은 ‘고령자와 어린이 보행 안전 확보 필요성’을 주제로 5분 자유발언을 진행했다.

이날 본회의에서는 내년 경주시에서 열리는 2025년 아시아태평양경제협력체(APEC) 정상회의의 성공적인 개최를 기원하며 군위군의회 의원 전원이 결의를 다졌다. 의원들은 APEC 정상회의가 대한민국의 국제적 위상을 높이는 중요한 행사라는 데 뜻을 같이하며 적극적인 응원을 약속했다.

최규종 의장은 개회사를 통해 “이번 임시회는 군 발전과 군민 복리 증진을 위한 중요한 자리로, 민생 회복과 생활 안정에 필요한 안건들을 신속하면서도 면밀하게 논의해야 한다”며 “특히 각 상임위원회 활동이 본격화되는 출발점인 만큼 전문적이고 체계적인 심의를 통해 균형 잡힌 정책 결정이 이뤄질 수 있도록 협조해 달라”고 강조했다.

Prior to the deliberations, Councilmember Park Woon-pyo addressed the "Necessity of Relocating the Chunghontap and Improving the Visiting Environment," Councilmember Jang Cheol-sik addressed the "Operation and Management Plan for Park Golf Courses and Future Directions," and Councilmember Hong Bok-soon addressed the "Necessity of Ensuring Pedestrian Safety for Seniors and Children."

During the plenary session, all members of the Gunwi County Council pledged their support for the successful hosting of the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit, which will be held in Gyeongju City next year. The councilmembers agreed that the APEC Summit is a significant event that will enhance Korea's international standing and pledged their active support.

In his opening remarks, Chairman Choi Gyu-jong emphasized, “This extraordinary session is an important opportunity for the development of the military and the promotion of the welfare of the people, and we must quickly and thoroughly discuss agenda items necessary for the restoration of people’s livelihoods and the stabilization of their lives.” He added, “In particular, as this is the starting point for the full-scale activities of each standing committee, I ask for your cooperation so that balanced policy decisions can be made through professional and systematic deliberation.”
