【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 달서구가 고용노동부 주관 '2025년 전국 지방자치단체 일자리대상'에서 우수상을 받았다고 1일 밝혔다.

'전국 지방자치단체 일자리대상'은 전국 243개 지자체를 대상으로 일자리 창출 노력·성과·정책 추진력을 종합 평가해 주는 고용 분야의 대표 상이다.

달서구는 구정 핵심 과제인 일자리를 중심에 두고 지역 맞춤형 '달서웨이 일자리 프로젝트'를 이어왔다. 그 결과 2024년 한 해 동안 총 1만4992개의 일자리를 만들어 목표 대비 109.1%를 달성했다.

동네 단위 맞춤 도시재생으로 지속가능한 지역경제 기반을 강화하고, 여성 경제활동 참여 확대를 위한 맞춤형 취업지원·직업훈련을 강화했다. 디지털 전환과 특성화시장 육성을 통해 소상공인 자립 기반을 넓히고, 취약계층을 포함한 포용적 일자리사업을 넓히는 등 다방면에서 고용 생태계를 키웠다.

2025년에는 고용의 양과 질을 동시에 높이기 위한 신규·확대 사업을 본격 추진한다. '미래모빌리티 전환 기업혁신성장 지원사업'으로 지역기업의 ISO 인증 취득을 도와 기업 경쟁력을 높이고 양질의 일자리 창출을 이끌어낸다.

'AI 기반 제조품질 전문가 양성사업'을 새로 만들어 디지털 제조 현장의 수요에 맞춘 전문 인력을 키우고, '달서청년 자격증 응시료 지원사업'을 넓혀 청년 역량 강화와 취업 기회 확대, 나아가 고용의 질 향상까지 도모할 계획이다.

이태훈 달서구청장은 "이번 수상은 구민과 지역 기업, 민·관이 함께 이뤄낸 결과"라며 "앞으로도 지역 특성을 반영한 차별화된 지역 맞춤 일자리정책으로 안정적 일자리 제공과 지역경제 활성화에 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
