이란 전쟁의 혼란과 경제 고통 속에서도 민주당은 이재명 대통령을 위한 ‘방탄용 국정조사’에 사실상 올인 하고 있다. 이름은 ‘검찰 조작 기소 의혹’이지만, 실상은 권력을 위한 과잉아첨 경쟁이다.

국정조사법 위반 소지와 삼권분립 훼손이라는 중대한 위헌 논란에도 아랑곳없이, 브레이크 없는 질주를 이어가고 있다.

야당의 항의는 철저히 묵살되고 있다. 무려 102명의 증인 채택마저 민주당이 단독 처리했다. 룰을 정하는 쪽도, 선수로 뛰는 쪽도, 심판 역할까지 모두 틀어쥐겠다는 것이다. 이쯤 되면 국정조사가 아니라 ‘각본 짜인 정치극’이다. 특히 증인과 핵심 증거를 여당이 입맛대로 고르고 배제하는 행태는 노골적이다. 게임의 규칙을 독점한 채 결과까지 설계하겠다는 것, 이것이야말로 비겁함을 넘어선 오만이다.
