존경하는 군민 여러분 ! 

2022년도 임인년(壬寅年) 새해가 밝았습니다.

항상 예천군의회를 향한 변함없는 지지와 성원을 보내주시는 

군민여러분께 깊은 감사의 인사를 드립니다.

지난해는 예천군의회에 있어 매우 뜻깊은 한해였습니다.

민주주의의 이념을 실현하고 지방분권을 확립하기 위한

지방자치제 부활의 30주년을 맞이한 해였으며,

주민참여를 확대하고 지방의회의 권한과 책임을 강화하기 위한  지방자치법 전부개정의 금년 시행을 앞두고 관련 조례 및 규칙을 제․개정하였습니다.

아울러, 의회 인사권 독립에 따른 예천군과의 협약 체결로 의회와  집행부의 긴밀한 협력을 더욱 공고히 다졌습니다.

이에 진정한 지방자치의 실현을 위해 군민들의 작은 소리에도 귀 기울여 그 뜻을 군정에 반영하고, 집행부를 향한 가감 없는 비판과 견제로 의정활동을 충실히 수행해 나가도록 최선을 다하겠습니다.

존경하는 군민여러분!

지난해 우리는 코로나19 종식을 희망하며 새해를 맞이하였습니다. 

하지만 새로운 변이의 발생과 위중증 환자 및 확진자의 폭증으로 

코로나19의 확산세가 계속 되어 군민들의 어려움이 가중되고 있습니다.

설렘과 희망을 안고 시작해야하는 새해이지만 이러한 위기 상황 속에 부푼 기대보다는 엄중한 사명감이 앞섭니다. 

 예천군의회는 의정활동의 최우선 목표를 군민의 안전과 지역경기활성화로 삼아 코로나19로 힘든 시기를 함께 극복하고 군민들이 더 나은 삶을 맞이할 수 있도록 모든 역량을 집중해 나가겠습니다.

 또한 변화를 두려워하지 않는 끊임없는 도전 정신을 바탕으로 정의롭고 안전하며, 잘 먹고 잘 사는 행복한 예천을 만들기 위한 의정활동에 더욱 매진하겠습니다.

 2022년은 힘차고 용맹한 검은 호랑이의 해입니다. 용맹한 호랑이의 기운을 받아 예천군의회도 예천군의 발전과 더 큰 도약을 위해 용감하고 힘차게 달리도록 하겠습니다. 

군민들에게 힘이 되고 의지할 수 있는 든든한 예천군의회를 만들기 위해 혼신의 힘을 다할 터이니 믿고 지켜봐 주시기 바랍니다. 

앞으로도 군민 여러분의 많은 관심과 응원을 당부 드립니다.

부디 2022년에는 코로나19와의 길고긴 투쟁을 끝내는 한해가 되길 간절히 소망해 봅니다.
